Book Review
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Author: J.K Rowling
Good things about book
Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is the fourth book in the astronomical series. There are as you may know there are seven books in the series. And a movies based on the book series as well. This book is for all ages, but a little bit more serious. What I like about this book is that it takes scenes and makes them more adventurous, sad, happy, alarming, and funny. I love all the mysteries in this book, way more than in Chamber of Secrets. The drama in this book is pretty genius and the complexity of the mysteries are deep and astounding. What I love is how Harry, Ron, and Hermione grow in their friendship and how they make new friends. J.K Rowling does a good job of easing love drama into the book without messing with the plot or characters too much. She knows how to have Harry feel guilt, love, pain, and grief very well, and having to deal with mixed emotions. Overall it is a brilliant book and I recommend it for people with a limitless imagination!
Things to be Cautioned
The things to be cautioned in this book are: black magic, scary scenes, ghosts, death, and crushes. As a Christan I can see why you wouldn’t want to read this book. There are no inappropriate things in this book; only Harry having a crush on a girl in this book is mostly wanting to ask a character out to the Yule ball. That's it, really for that subject. For scary scenes most have black magic, one has death, ghost, and bullying. The book is in my opinion appropriate for about 10 and up only considering there is death. (If you are younger and can handle scary scenes then this book is for you!) I hope you read this book and enjoy it like I have!
